Payson Wildlife Fair

Emma and Nathan having fun in the park. I don't know who is pulling who. They were playing like this for a good fifteen to twenty minutes.

Here is Grandpa Thompson out in the canoe. Apparently Camron didn't want to go in the end. Grandpa had fun anyways.

While Grandpa, Grandma, Kirsha, and Camron were doing things together, the rest of us went fishing. We walked around and saw lots of animals. My children did other things, like hold snakes, and pet alligators. But, what they really wanted to do was go fishing with Uncle Scotty. Due to some unforeseen complications, Scott and Jodi were not able to be with us. You guys were missed.

We went fishing with out them. We got some poles and bait, and then picked a spot to sit. We sat and fished for a while. They loved the idea of fishing. But they can't stand to wait for the fish to actually bite the hook.

As Amber stated in her blog, we were casting the lines out, almost as fast as they were reeling them in.

Even Anne-Marie got into the spirit of the event. She wanted to hole the pole as well.


Here is Morgan and his fish. He was the only one to actually catch something. He was quite surprised by it. He was just reeling in his line and someone else shouted, "Hey! You got a fish!" He was very happy.
